Advertising Products As Employee Incentives

By Ann A Christopher

Job Vacancy Indonesia, Employee, Vacancy

It's rare that a enterprise can find a way to thank employees that also helps the business itself, but promo gear are one such avenue where employees and organizations get the best of both worlds. There are no losers when advertising pieces are used as employee incentives. Here's how the exchange works for both parties.
A small business decides that promotional pieces will be an inexpensive way to promote the name and phone number of the company. People will get something for free and the company will receive exposure to the outside world. This will increase business and the customers won't feel like they've been advertised to.
There's no better people to give the advertising objects to than the employees themselves. They get something useful or fun for free and they're able to feel a sense of pride that they're part of what makes the company successful. Many employees feel a sense of pride when they use promo things. This is a great way for a firm to show that it appreciates employees and it's a great way for employees to help advertise the business they've worked so hard to make successful.
While employees take these gifts home, they become closer to the company they work for. They also become participants in an inexpensive advertising campaign, something that works out wonderfully for the business that employs them.
Everyone that sees the promotional pieces can not only know about the name of the small business, but they can ask someone who works there what the small business sells. It's a great way to put customers in touch with the friendly people that work in a small business while at the same time giving the corporation even more detailed exposure thanks to the explanations given by the employees.
This kind of advertising has worked well for businesses and organizations for years. It's the reason why employees so often receive a large bounty of company promo pieces to take home with them. It's a way to say thank you without asking them to do anything special. In return, the firm gets extremely-needed visibility in the world outside the office, with the additional benefit of someone that is willing and eager to explain what they do for the business. It's like having its own personal representative on the outside.
When employees are given free promotional gadgets, they feel more worthwhile to the enterprise and more proud of what they do. They're likely to use those advertising objects as a way to show off that pride and to explain more about the company they work for when asked.

Best Online Degree

By Keith Londrie

Job Vacancy Indonesia, Employee, Vacancy

Because there are so many online degrees to choose from, you may be somewhat unsure of how to proceed in picking the right one. Here are some tips to help you choose from online degrees that will provide you with the type of credentials that you want because you do not have to worry about geographic location you literally have thousands of programs and online universities to choose from. However, you cannot depend on name recognition alone. There are many offers out there and you need to research the subject properly before making a commitment. In addition, price is not a reliable indication of an online universities' value. We are going to present you with helpful information to help you choose the best online college for your online degree.
The first thing you must do is check on the accreditation of the institution that issues the online degrees. The Internet is full with diploma mills with dubious accreditation mixed together with those that are worth it. To prevent this unpleasant situation you had better check with accreditation associations that are available in your country, and make sure the institution is in good standing. By making sure you pick the right e-learning institution, you will save money and time. In addition, you will not have to go through the embarrassment of having your studies rejected.
You have to research whether or not a university or college that also operates a traditional campus as well as a virtual one issues the online degrees. This can prove to be very important, because you may have to attend a certain number of hours on campus before you are awarded your degree. If this is not something, with which you feel comfortable, then it is best to pass on that program and look for online degrees that can be earned by online study.
Do some research concerning the type of financial aid programs are offered by the institution, or if there are flexible payment plans. By knowing how you will have to pay for the courses, you are more likely to complete your degree on time. Never sign up for anything that you do not reasonably think you can honor or respect the agreement on time. Because online degrees are aimed at working adults, you are sure to find a program with a payment plan that fits with your budget.
Because of online degrees, many people can pursue their dreams of a college education, even if life experience has prevented them from doing so in the past. You will soon be able to claim the title of college graduate if you take your time and make the right choice after careful consideration of the offers available on the market.
Will You Get Tech Support When You Need It?
Online learning programs cannot afford to permit students to spend entire hours on the phone in order to fix a software mistake. Because their are students who have time do assignments at odd hours, tech support should be available twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.
Make sure that the teachers involved in the online program are certified. You should ask what their fields of activity are and in which field are them the most experienced. Their are online universities which use adjunct faculty members who are practitioners in their fields. In this case, students would work with somebody who has both knowledge and experience. They will not only learn information but also use it in real-life situations.
If you choose to submit to an online school, it is clear that you have many things going on in your life. That is why you have to make sure you have taken the best choice. Ask what happens in the eventuality that you need to abandon a course partway through. Most of the online students have jobs and families. When you have so much to deal with life unexpectedly gets in the way of studies and the only way to deal with it is to leave a course. Before applying, ask what provisions the online degree program makes if you have to drop a course partway through. You should ask if you will get a refund and if you can later on be readmitted to the school and continue your studies.
Nowadays it is very common for students to transfer credits from one school to another. Because this is so common and helpful you need to ask what is their policy for transferring credits. Transferring credits between institutions has gotten better since online education has become more accepted as a part of the educational system. Despite this fact, not every institution will accept online credits and it is better to be informed.
Before joining, an online school in order to obtain an online degree makes sure you can afford it. Besides the tuition, you have to take into consideration the additional costs. Education is not cheap, but is worth the expenses. You should remember that you need textbooks and software too, because education is a complex process. In your effort to cover all of these costs, make sure that you take into consideration the grants, loans, scholarships, and the other financial means that are offered to you.
When you choose to be a student at a certain University, you do it because you feel that the institution will help you to achieve your goals. That is why you have to make sure that the school fits your educational goals and your career objectives. Another thing to consider is the amount of time in which the program lets you earn your degree. It should be according to your needs, no more, no less. You should make some research on the pace in which you are going to study. You have to be sure that you can handle the information volume and the pace used in that school.

Recruiting Network Marketing Leaders

By Richard Dennis

Job Vacancy Indonesia, Employee, Vacancy

I'll bet that the first time you ever heard of an MLM home business opportunity presentation, the word "duplication" wasn't far behind. It's long been accepted as gospel that for memorable network marketing career success and royalty profits, you must have duplication. And to effectively recruit network marketing leaders, you must be able to present them with a turnkey system that works.
Back in 1989, I was reading the business opportunity ads in the weekend edition of USA Today. I circled a few ads and called the most inviting one. An enthusiastic voice mail message asked for my contact information. The message offered me a free audiotape loaded with profitable MLM secrets.
The mail came. I listened to the tape, by a fellow by a heavy hitter named Dayle Maloney. You may well know Dayle, an old-time MLMer, very successful.
I admit, residual income sounded great. But I wanted nothing to do with downlines, compensation plans, endless in-home meetings, listing my warm market, prelaunches, or sales presentations.
I had been there and done that and had been killed off a few times in MLM. But Dayle had some fresh strategies about how to attract targeted reps from a cold market. One distributor training point in particular stuck with me. Dayle said that if you are ever going to make a big paycheck in network marketing, if you are ever going to kiss your boss goodbye and retire from your job, you've got to do your own recruiting audiotape. No argument - you just have to.
And that thought stuck with me. A few years later, I found a life-changing MLM nutritional product. I figured if there was ever any product I could sell, it would be that one. I remembered what Dayle said. So I wrote a script and then rented studio time and recorded a 90-minute promotional audiotape. It set me apart from the masses. I had good success with it.
Over the next few years, I did 6 or 8 different motivational audiotape sponsoring presentations. And every one of them built a profitable business. Most were scripted. Some, I recorded with company owners, doctors, marketing experts, and others. The technology has changed today, though. No more audiotapes - it's all online audio and video.
To Have Major Long-Term Network Marketing Success, You Need To Brand Yourself
That first prospecting audiotape differentiated me from my MLM competition. And as I built my networking business, my people had an exclusive recruiting tool. (THAT is where the duplication comes in!) In MLM, you are always talking about how important duplication is. And it definitely is important. You've got to have a lead generation and training system that other people can get quick results with.
But if you are ever going to be the big guru leader with the huge success and big monthly paycheck who can effectively recruit network marketing leaders, you also have to brand yourself as a specialist, an expert. Figure out a unique message and a unique way to deliver it ... video, podcast, email, conference call ... figure out a solution, online and offline, that makes you different. That's when network marketing becomes a REALLY interesting and fun game.

Document Generation Solutions For Your Business Needs

By Scott Duglase

Job Vacancy Indonesia, Employee, Vacancy

It's like an evil catch twenty two aimed directly at your business's bottom line. All that time it takes for document generation costs you money; but, alas, those reports are absolutely necessary in order for the business to actually make any money. The question is, are there solutions out there that will give you the quality reports you need while not sucking a ton of money out of your bottom line? The answer is a resounding yes, and any business owner worth his or her salt will start their research on the many solutions immediately, if not sooner. For those of you who are not immediately convinced of the importance of innovative document generation solutions, I've got three ways it can directly benefit your business's bottom line.
Efficiency is King of any business. Is efficiency that important? Ask any business owner or CEO and they will answer with a resounding yes. They will also let you know, unfortunately, that no one has come close yet. Without wasting resources and man hours, document solutions are the best way to boost the efficiency of your business and allowing your employees to spend more time on other items besides generating reports. And, because all employees and actually create and alter the reports on the spot, the business gets the reports exactly when they need them without having to wait hours or days for programmers to do the 'behind the scenes' coding work. Ah, efficiency!
But don't think that just because you are cutting your reporting time in half that you have to settle for lackluster quality. Most document generation solutions will work directly with your basic Microsoft Office packages to generate very high quality reports in programs that all of your employees are already familiar with. Your audience is looking for clarity and detail, and with the solutions out there, these reports give them what they need. It doesn't take a genius to understand that better reports lead better presentations, which usually leads to an increase in business for you.
Finally, these types of solutions can give you the flexibility to provide all of the different types of reports you need for the different departments, partners, and investors that have a stake in the business, whether it needs to be formatted in DOCX, XLSX, PDF, XML, HTML, or whatever else it might be. The bottom line is that one report can give each different audience exactly what they need.

How to Handle a Pay Cut

by Caroline Potter, Yahoo! HotJobs

Perhaps you've noticed that business has slowed down around your office, which could be a sign that your company has fallen on tough times. The good news, you learn, is that you still have a job. But before you can say, "Whew," you learn the bad news: Your salary is being reduced.

Make No Accept-ion

When your supervisor breaks the news to you about your pay cut, do not accept anything immediately. In other words, refrain from conveying any type of agreement, either verbally or in writing. If pushed, you may say something to the effect of "This is a lot to process right now. I need to think about this and discuss it with my family this evening."

What you want to do is buy yourself some time. Why? You need to find out all the facts surrounding a salary reduction before you accept it. A pay cut can affect your future severance package and compensation for unused sick or vacation days as those numbers are usually calculated based on your current salary -- as are unemployment benefits. Also, the reduced compensation could affect salary negotiations with future employers as your last salary of record could be significantly less than what you are really worth.

Just the Facts

Once you're no longer reeling from the shock, go on a fact-finding mission. Questions to ask your superiors include:

    * Is this a mandatory or voluntary pay cut?
    * How much will your pay be lowered by?
    * Who else is affected by the pay cut?
    * How long will the pay cut last?
    * Could there be retroactive reimbursement?
    * How will this affect raises, bonuses and benefits?
    * Are you going to have to work longer hours or take on additional tasks?
    * What are the company's plans to turn things around?

Questions to ask yourself include:

    * How much do you need this job?
    * Do you have faith that the company will recover from this setback?
    * Can you trust what your superiors are telling you?
    * Is it time to move on?

After gathering information outwardly and inwardly, you may want to speak with an employment attorney to explore all of your legal options and your rights.

It Pays to Negotiate

Once you know the facts and think you may wish to continue at your current job, see if you can negotiate to make the pay cut more palatable to you.

Some areas to negotiate can include your weekly hours and where you work. Suggest a reduced schedule, such as a four-day workweek. Or try to arrange to telecommute to reduce your commuting costs.

You can also negotiate around stock options, if you still believe the company is viable -- and valuable. If you don't have any stock options, ask for some. If you have some, try to get more. If you're not sure what the shares are worth and where the company is headed, do some research on Yahoo! Finance and Yahoo! News.

Finally, ask the company for a written agreement around the salary cut, when your old pay rate might be reinstated and if there will be any recompense for lost wages. Your supervisor may balk, but if you work for a small company, you may be able to negotiate this.

Exit Stage Left

If at the end of your fact-finding and negotiating you feel cornered, remember: you're not. You still have choices and options. However, to exercise any of them, you may need to consult with an employment attorney or your local unemployment office.

Because most people are employed "at will," you or your employer can end the arrangement at any time and your salary can be lowered, as long as it is done for a legitimate business reason. But, if your pay has been cut by an unreasonable percentage, you may be able to quit and still collect unemployment benefits. Rules vary from state to state; check with your local unemployment office before you do anything.

If you have an employment contract, you may be able to refuse the cut altogether or at least quit and collect unemployment, but only if the contract states terms of compensation and says that your employer cannot alter the terms without your consent. The pay cut could constitute a breach of contract and an attorney can help you negotiate the terms of your release or fight for your full pay.

Finally, you can temporarily agree to the pay cut, update your resume. Begin applying for new jobs immediately and look forward to the future with a different employer.
