G-Resources is a Hong Kong listed gold mining and exploration company. It has acquired the world-class Martabe gold-silver project in northern Sumatera, Indonesia. Already in development, Martabe is expected to commence production of gold in 2011. The mine will be capable of producing at a rate of 250,000oz gold and 3M oz silver per annum.

HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER (HR-0677)
This position will be based in Martabe with FIFO schedule 4/2 weeks and reports directly to the General Manager Operation.

Key aspect of this role are:
- Set up HR administrative processes and procedures with strategic planning
- Ensure the effective recruitment of key personnel, coordinating training & development, industrial relations, compensation & benefits, developing organisation design (Strategy, Structure, Culture, People and Technology) align with company vision and mission.
Candidates for this role would be expected to have the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor degree or diploma in relevant social science with a minimum of 15 years working experience in human resources department in the mining Industry.
- Strategic thinking and planning skills – can contribute to the development and implementation of HR strategies.
- Broad and substantial core technical HR knowledge and skills, including learning & development, IR, performance management, and remuneration.
- Able to initiate and effect change and achieve required results.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to develop excellent relationships with peers internal and external to PTAR
- Sensitive to and understands the cultural sensibilities of indigenous local people.
